The Jefferson Lies
An American book burning

Happy 4th

In a form of book burning, a book titled “The Jefferson Lies” written by evangelical Christian David Barton' was demonized by the America hating Communist leftwing history munching Democrat so-called progressives.  And eventually removed from not only the New York Times best seller list, but all book shelves and book stores.

A Christian publisher pulled the influential evangelical David Barton's bestseller – which aims to debunk "myths" about Thomas Jefferson's theological Christian leanings – after receiving complaints about so-called inaccuracies.

The inaccuracies of course were based on the new rewritten American History which seeks to propagandize the masses into believing that America was designed as a Godless socialist atheistic democracy.  When in fact our For Fathers were scared to death of democracy because they knew their history and that democracies lead directly to tyranny.  America didn’t become a true democracy until 1913.  A hundred years later we are experiencing the rapid development of tyranny. We have president who rules by executive order instead of through the representatives of the people and the States.  Since the Seventeenth Amendment the states don’t even have any representation in the federal government.

Much of David Barton's work is devoted to advancing the unpopular idea, based upon research that many anti-American historians and journalists describe as flawed, that for example, the United States was founded as an explicitly Christian nation, and that the assertion that the United States Constitution calls for separation of church and state is a "myth.

Well of course it’s a myth. I challenge anyone to show me the law in the U.S. Constitution that says there is an unambiguous separation of Church and State.

The conservative leader David Barton, was called one of the top 25 most influential evangelicals by Time Magazine and counts Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee among his supporters. Of course they too are all considered right wing extremist nuts.

In The Jefferson Lies: ‘Exposing the Myths You’ve Always Believed About Thomas Jefferson’, he argues that the third US president was a more fervent Christian than commonly believed.
Publisher Thomas Nelson received complaints about the book even before its release and withdrew it after a so-called internal review found many of Barton's claims did not have sufficient support. Initially, Barton's supporters said the criticism was ideologically based, but significant criticism even from within the evangelical community has emerged.

This speaks to the extent that false historical indoctrination has infiltrated our mind controlled society.

Barton, who is founder of ‘WallBuilders’, an organization that argues that constitutional separation of church and state is a myth, claimed Jefferson didn't question Christianity until the last 15 years of his life.

Warren Throckmorton an anti-Christian Psychology professor said that Jefferson questioned key parts of Christianity including Mary's virgin birth, Jesus' resurrection and Jesus' teachings of being the messiah long before his death in 1826.

Throckmorton condemns Jefferson on the bases of questioning his faith.  The truth is that if one doesn’t question one’s own faith one is either a liar or a blind idiot.

"As early as 1788, we have a letter where he said he didn't understand the trinity, and if he didn't understand the trinity, how could he possibly agree to it?" Throckmorton told the Guardian. "Barton has to ignore all of that, which he does. In his book, he doesn't mention it."

I can’t help but wonder if Throckmorton really understands the Trinity. If he does he truly must be a Genius, and just may be an intellectual-christian. Rather than excepting Christ by faith.
Critics also say the book glosses over Jefferson's slave ownership. Barton argued that Jefferson couldn't free his slaves because of Virginia state law. Throckmorton says that's not true after 1782, when Virginia passed a law that let slave-owners free their slaves, Jefferson refrained from freeing his.

The truth is that Jefferson freed his slaves in 1784 after he was sure they would be self-sufficient. In the meantime he paid them, so technically they were no longer slaves.

Barton, who has worked as a consultant to the Republican National Committee and as a co-chair in the Texas GOP, defended his claims and said he has historical documentation for each of the purported so-called inaccuracies.

In a statement released Friday, Barton said:
“As is the case with all of our published items, we go above and beyond with original source documentation so that people can be thoroughly confident when they see the truth of history for themselves. We find it regrettable that Thomas Nelson never contacted us with even one specific area of concern before curtly notifying us they had dropped the work. Had they done so, we would have been happy to provide them with the thorough and extensive historical documentation for any question or issue they raised; they never asked. The Jefferson Lies has not been pulled from publication and it will continue to sell nationally.”
The book is available for purchase on the WallBuilders website, or on Amazon and Barton says it has been picked up by a much larger national publisher.

THE BOTTOM LINE: The hate-America social-communists have long been rewriting American history or in many cases eliminating large blocks of documentation that support the truth about Americas Christian beginnings.  For example before the Capital in Washington D.C. was even finished, church was held every Sunday morning, first in the rotunda then in the House chamber.
This my friend, is why the left wing Communists hate the Constitution, because it was written by people with Christian morals and principals.

If you want to un-brainwash yourself and reeducate yourself with the truth, try reading ‘The Jefferson Lies’. Instead of the Atheistic Communist lies that continually try to snuff out the truth.
