Warning: ‘Protected Gun Zone’ or ‘Unprotected Gun Free Zone’

"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first."-- Thomas Jefferson

Warning: ‘Protected Gun Zone’ or ‘Unprotected Gun Free Zone’

A terrible situation in Rockledge, Florida could have been much, much worse if not for the quick-thinking of concealed carry permit holders in a protected Gun Zone.

A man armed with a .45-caliber handgun and a lot of ammunition wandered onto an auto repair shop property and began firing in the parking lot Friday afternoon, police said.

The gunman killed one employee and paralyzed a second. That’s when the employees at Schlenker Automotive fought back with equal force, Rockledge police chief Joseph La Sata said.

The man shot and killed an employee in the parking lot, then shot and paralyzed a second employee who had walked outside to investigate the gunfire. At this point, the store’s manager, realizing that something terrible was underway retrieved his own firearm and confronted the shooter. Then the manager made his way back into the building, and a second employee (also a concealed carry permit holder) engaged the attacker as well.

“The manager, who was a concealed weapons permit holder, came out and engaged in gunfire in the parking lot,”  Police chief La Sata said.  The manager fled back inside the building, being chased by the gunman. Another Schlenker employee, who also had concealed weapons permit, engaged in gunfire with the suspect.”

“If not for the brave, quick thinking of the employees at Schlenker, this could have been a lot worse,” La Sata underscored. “Mr. Bailey [the attacker] had multiple magazines on his person. He was intent on doing harm. The employees stepped up.”

The shooter was not prepared to face resistance and between the two defenders he was unable to continue the attack he had imagined. Police apprehended the attacker on premises after he’d been shot twice and he is now in a nearby hospital being cared for and preparing to spend a long time in prison.

More importantly, the two law abiding citizens with guns were able to save countless lives, stopping a madman from adding yet another mass shooting incident to America’s recent count.

This example my friend is a far cry from the illegal anti-Constitutional laws regarding the protection of your children in schools across the country.  A recent example of this is the Aztec High School shooting  in New Mexico on December 7 where there were 2 slain students in their GUN FREE ZONES.

Two students were killed in a shooting Thursday at Aztec High School in Aztec, New Mexico, state police said on their verified Twitter account, and the suspected shooter is also dead.

The two students killed were Casey Marquez and Francisco Fernandez, the San Juan County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.

Aztec Police got a call about the shooting about 8 a.m., officials said, and students were in class at the time.

Aztec is a small town in northwest New Mexico, about three hours from Albuquerque, and authorities from nearby Farmington assisted in the response to the shooting.

Garrett Parker, a sophomore at Aztec High School, said he was in a classroom when students heard what they thought was someone punching the lockers. As the noise got louder and the suspect got closer to the classroom, they realized it was gunshots, he said.

The whole classroom had to hide until they were told by officials to walk out of the room toward the back of the building and toward the parking lot, Garrett said. They were then split into groups by alphabetical order of their last names and taken to a park to meet their families.

When Garrett and his classmates were walking out of the building they were told to not look to the right because there was a body lying there.

"I just can't believe this happened in our community. This is all a horrible feeling. I'm glad my kids are safe and with us but I am devastated for my community and for the families who didn't get the chance to take their kids home," Montoya said.

US Sen. Martin Heinrich, a Democrat from New Mexico, said he was distraught to learn of the shooting.   "This is a parent's biggest nightmare. Every child deserves to be safe at school," he said.

Heinrich also called for action to address what he called the "epidemic of gun violence" in America.  "All of us should feel an urgency to take concrete action to address this disease," he said. "I can promise you that I refuse to give in to the feeling of helplessness that too often follows these events. No matter the odds, I will continue to seek common ground with my colleagues in order to keep firearms out of the hands of those who would turn them on our families, friends and neighbors."

THE BOTTOM LINE:  A typical willfully ignorant and anti-American U.S. Senator who just doesn’t realize that he and government officials like him are as much to blame for the dead helpless students as the shooter. Or’ he does realize it and just doesn’t care. There are only two reasons for purposely leaving your kids helpless if some deranged individual decides to use your kids for target practice.

If you are a parent with kids in a Gun Free School Zone, and if you love your kids, then I highly recommend that you pull them out, then’ contact the School District and demand that either teachers be armed or arm guards be on the school premises at all times. Either that, or by a gun yourself and home school your kids. The safety of your children is your responsibility my friend. So if you continue to put your children in an obvious unsafe situation then you are gambling with your kids lives. Both you and your kids will eventually pay the price.  Remember Sandy Hook…was also a GUN FREE ZONE!

Why criminals shouldn't hold up a gun store.

Thanks for listening my friend. Now go do the right thing, pray and fight for truth and freedom.
