”And He said to them, But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.” Luke 22:36

If you’re over the age of 20 like me, you’ve probably never heard of “Lil Bit” before. I hadn’t.
Most of the nation hadn’t until the TV reality star posted a picture of her husband and young baby on Facebook.
In the picture, the TV star shows her husband has passed out asleep taking care of their infant daughter in her baby carrier.
The reason the picture stirred so much controversy?
Look closely…there is a gun on the nightstand. Incidentally that is exactly where mine is.
The picture made some brain-dead anti-American jadrools steaming hot, saying- “the reality star was putting their child in danger.” Oh really!
The gun’s safety was engaged, and the child who is less than a month old, couldn’t have possibly mustered the strength or the knowhow to get out of its carrier, much less reach up, pick up the gun, switch off the safety and squeeze the trigger.
However, the law in North Carolina states it is a misdemeanor offense “to leave a gun in the open where a child could easily get to it.” The operative word here in the law is “EASILY.” The truth here is that this one month old baby couldn’t do anything EASILY! Besides the mother was awake taking the picture…come on!
But when confronted with arrest on the gun being there she commented back.
“By God I will unload on somebody if they break in and try to hurt me or my family…Someone breaks in, I’m killin’ ’em.”
Fair enough. That’s exactly what guns are for.
The stuck-on-stupid anti-American gun haters obviously didn’t care about her justification and wanted her arrested. They just wanted another reason to feel justified in yet another unfounded attack on a real-American law abiding gun owners.
