Convert Them or Kill Them

Convert Them or Kill Them
Is Phil Robertson boldly speaking what others are thinking?  Is America beginning to wake up to the reality of truth?

The perspective of truth!

By now you have likely heard about what Phil Robertson said on the Sean Hannity show watch the video.

The moment Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson said to Sean Hannity, that, with regard to ISIS, you have to "either convert them or kill them," it was obvious that others would ignorantly pounce on those words and claim that he was no better than ISIS.  Is the one who kills to defend him/herself, no better than the attacker bent on murdering?  People ignorantly refer to the Commandment “Thou shalt not kill.”  In the day that it was written, there was no separate word for murder (killing with malice).  Jesus Himself told his disciples to buy a sword, to sell their clothes if necessary.  What do you think the sword was for?
Hannity recognized that Robertson's words could be controversial, because the truth is always controversial, he began to inject the words, "That's going…" before the Duck Dynasty patriarch continued. Later, Hannity said, "I know there are going to be people that are always looking to jump on you and say, 'Convert them or kill them.' And they're going to say, 'There goes Phil Robertson again.' I know the media. I know how they act."
But was Robertson's stance really comparable to that of the Islamic terrorists? Absolutely not; if he could have found a better way to express himself, he would hardly have been speaking and acting like Phil Robertson!
To put his remarks in proper context, Robertson began by quoting a number of Scriptures, including the highly appropriate verse from Proverbs 8: "All who hate me [speaking of divine wisdom personified] love death."  His point being that these are evil people bent on destruction and murder. They love death, they worship it. They are controlled by evil just as the people of Noah’s time.
Hannity then stated, "I think they are at war with us," and that's what Robertson was responding to. How do you deal with people like this?
Robertson described the terrorists as "street thugs on steroids," calling the conflict, "worldwide gang warfare, but this gang is well-armed and well-organized," suggesting that "we're going to have to deal with this group way more harshly than we have up to this point."
Robertson is not the only one who has seen through the “taqiyyah” of Islam. This is actually the sentiment of many respected leaders, not to mention more and more of the American populace, I think they are just afraid to say so.  They are afraid to look at the truth and risk standing alone with it.
Who among us doesn't want to see these murderers stopped? Who among us doesn't want to see an end to their atrocities?  So how do we accomplish this my friend?  Nothing we have done so far has had any effect, unless you would count getting worse, an effect.
Let’s take a quick lesson from history
This war did not start on (9/11) 2001 as one would suppose.  It started 6000 years ago in 4000 BC when Satan deceived Eve.  Approximately 2000 years later in 2000 BC. God killed all the people, millions that followed Satan/Allah.   Saving only the family of Noah.  In 610 AD Satan/Allah deceived Muhammad exactly the same way he did Eve in 4000 BC, only this time he disguised himself instead of a reptile, as the angel Gabriel.  The point is, God dealt with the evil people the followers of Allah in Noah’s time by extermination.  Today we are faced with the same circumstances, millions of evil people led by Allah/Satan to what? Exterminate all Jews, Christians and anyone who isn’t part of the Muslim Jihad of world domination and the kingdom of Hell.
Dr. Ben Carson remarked that, The Islamic State and the other advocates of Shariah law are growing rapidly, along with their zeal to eradicate or convert all “infidels.” For those who are asleep at the wheel, in the opinion of these fanatics, most of Western civilization – including America – fits into the infidel category.  I normally encourage conversation and compromise where possible, but how does one negotiate or compromise with someone who desires your elimination? Maybe if you meet some of their demands, they will only dismember you or kill you more slowly." In short, "You don't negotiate with people whose goal is to eliminate you."
Similar sentiments were expressed in a petition launched by Princeton professor Robert P. George, which stated, "It is imperative that the United States and the international community act immediately and decisively to stop the ISIS/ISIL genocide and prevent the further victimization of religious minorities. This goal cannot be achieved apart from the use of military force to degrade and disable ISIS/ISIL forces"
Signers of this petition not only included conservative Christian leaders like Jim Daly of Focus on the Family and Russell Moore of the Southern Baptists, but Cornel West, "a former Princeton professor, a radical left-winger, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, and a frequent guest on MSNBC."  This led to a Daily Caller headline, "The One Thing Cornel West and Ben Carson Agree On."
Even Vice President Joe Biden, perhaps reacting to President Obama's much-maligned public indecisiveness, stated, "They should know we will follow them to the gates of hell until they are brought to justice. Because hell is where they will reside. Hell is where they will reside."
It turns out that Phil Robertson actually responded with more Christian grace than any of these leaders, actually suggesting the possibility of reaching out to the terrorists with the gospel:  “Convert them or kill them.” It’s their choice!
"I'd much rather have a Bible study with all of them and show them the error of their ways and point them to Jesus Christ, the author and perfector of having your sins removed and being raised from the dead. I would rather preach the gospel of Jesus to them.  However, if it's a gun fight and a gun fight alone, if that is what they're looking for, me personally, I am prepared for either one." Said Robertson.
So what is the difference between all other religions and Christianity?
“Jesus’ apostles and other disciples were willing to die for him. But so what? Haven’t the followers of other religious leaders and even some political leaders been willing to die for them, as well? What makes Jesus’ followers so unique in this regard?

I address this very question in my new book,” says David Limbaugh, “Jesus on Trial: A Lawyer Affirms the Truth of the Gospel,” because I used to wonder about this, too. What, if anything, distinguishes the Christian martyrs?

New Testament scholar Gary Habermas offered an insight that I hadn’t considered before, and I find it enormously probative.

“One grand distinction,” he argues,” makes all the difference in the world. Like other examples of religious or political faith, the disciples believed and followed their leader’s teachings. But unlike all others, the disciples had more than just their beliefs; they had seen the resurrected Jesus. This is a crucial distinction. Their faith was true precisely because of the Resurrection.”   David Limbaugh Attorney at law.  (Brother of Rush Limbaugh radio talk show host)

There is no resurrection in Islam, there is no salvation in Islam, and there is no love in Islam. There is only what you have witnessed all around the world…HATE, DEATH AND DISTRUCTION!  What can you expect from the god of Hell?

THE BOTTOM LINE: Despite what the ignorant and deceived people are saying, the massive night-and-day differences between Robertson and Islam are clear: Muslims, demand conversion with hate, at the point of a sword; Robertson’ would offer it freely with love and a Bible in hand.  The Muslims slaughter innocent, unarmed men, women, and children;’ Robertson, is talking about stopping the killers.  I agree!
You can try to convert the Muslim that is about to behead you or you can fight back now while there is still time to do so.
And while I wish we could convert all these sons of Satan into oblivion, we can’t…it’s been tried for 1400 years my friend.  So as unthinkable and shocking as it is, we have reached the point where it’s a matter of killing them before they kill us.  It’s a matter of self-defense.
