Reminiscent of Columbine, Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown Connecticut is the scene of yet another massacre of American school children.  And I just have to add… in a GUN FREE ZONE!

First…my deepest sympathies and prayers go to the parents of the children that were killed at what should be the safest place for young children to be, ‘in school’.

That being said…  Where do bank robbers go to rob banks?  ‘Banks of course’, why?  Because that is where the money is…

So, where do mass murders go to commit mass murder?  Well… to schools of course, why?  Because that’s where the little innocent, helpless, people are, with emphasis on helpless --- unprotected --- a safe place for the mass murderers to carry out his/her insanity.  A place where this kind of thing can’t possibly happen…Why because just like Columbine and a dozen other places, this my friend was another GUN FREE ZONE!!!!!!!!  A place where only crazies have guns.  This is GUN CONTROL, OUT OF CONTROL…

Authorities in Connecticut (responded) to a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown at 9:30 AM Friday morning.  Police reported 27 deaths, including 18 dead children and others wounded.

The one known shooter Adam Lanza was 20, carrying two weapons, a Glock and Sig Sauer handgun, he is dead.  Police continue to investigate if there was a second shooter involved, possibly his brother Ryan.

The principal Dawn Hochsprung and a school psychologist were killed, according to a parent who claimed to witness part of the attack.

Reports say that the alleged shooter appeared in the building's main office at about 9:20 a.m., approximately 30 minutes after the school day began.

The initial 911 call said that students were trapped in a classroom with the adult shooter who had two guns.

Students were escorted out of the building single-file.  There are approximately 626 students enrolled in kindergarten through 4th grade classes at Sandy Hook Elementary, with another 46 faculty members, Newtown Patch reported.

So what is the answer to: “How do we prevent this from ever happening again?”  I hate to say it, but I truly believe it cannot be totally prevented.  But I can tell you for sure my friend, the answer is not ‘gun control’.  As a matter of fact gun control contributes to this kind of insanity by creating so-called GUN FREE ZONES that are obviously only gun free for the innocent and the unsuspecting but certainly not gun free for any crazy that wants to cowardly massacre helpless unprotected children.

You can rest assured there will soon be a new gun control stew recipe put together by another group of crazies called legislators, because of this horrific, indescribable incident.      

THE BOTTOM LINE:  Earlier in the article I said:  “Authorities in Connecticut (responded) to a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School”.  The key word here us “responded” they responded to a mass murder.  Why???  Not’ why did they respond, but why did they respond to a mass murder instead of responding to the killing of the mass murderer?  In other words the mass murder had already taken place and the police were responding to it.  There was no one there to ‘protect’…  The twenty children were already dead as well as seven adults, this was a gun free zone, no one had any guns there… except the crazy man!  You see gun free zones don’t really mean gun free zones, it means a false sense of security.  What it really means is that there is no responsibility there.

Gun control is the most ‘irresponsible act’ there is, next to mass murder itself.  If our legislators were really thinking and acting responsibly, they would - instead of forcing innocent people to make themselves helpless - they would be encouraging people to protect themselves.  This is one of the things that it means to be an American.  The nearby State of Vermont has never had a school shooting; the State of Vermont incidentally has no gun laws ‘at all’ and it has the lowest violent crime per capita in the nation.  Need I say more???
