Left Defenseless

Whatever your feelings are regarding guns, it may soon become irrelevant

By de Andréa

Camden New Jersey is the second most dangerous city in America. With violent crime still rising, Camden is laying off Police, up to 50% of the force.

In 2009, according to FBI statistics Camden had 2,380 violent crimes per 100,000 residents - more than five times the national average and this is expected to rise sharply in 2010 and 2011.

When seconds count Police are minutes away, so goes the saying. But with violent crime going through the roof and crime fighters becoming an endangered species, in Camden, help could be as much as an hour away.

Of the top ten most dangers cities in the country, California has three of them. California also has among the most restrictive gun laws in the country. FBI statistics show that the more anti-gun laws in force, the higher the violent crime rate will be.

Washington DC, up until the recent Supreme Court reversal of its 30 year gun-ban was the number one murder capital of the country sometimes exceeding the war zone of Iraq. It has now slipped completely out of the top ten. Chicago has followed suit after its Supreme Court decision. This again and again supports the extensive study by John Lott of More Guns Less Crime.

This fact will become increasingly important as the economy deteriorates and law enforcement becomes scarce. Police officers, at least in the near future, may be a dying breed. But they may not be the only ones dying.

I am going to be painfully truthful and poignant here. These disturbing statistics are just an infinitesimal example of what may be to come all across this country. The more guns the government takes away from law abiding citizens through regulation, restriction, and outright bans, the more the balance tips in favor of the criminals. Because guess what? Criminals have this bad habit of not obeying laws, especially gun laws. This fact by the way is what defines criminals as criminals.

As we become deeper and deeper entrapped in this economic downward spiral, we will become more and more left to defending ourselves against those that would rob, rape, and kill us. But alas, as all this is passing its way into our history books, our governments, federal, state, and local, are systematic disarming America’s innocent law abiding citizens, only to leave us totally defenseless against this ever increasing violent crime.

While the so-called anti-gun experts are doing this in the name of reducing crime, rape, and murder, the criminals are recognizing that the public will be increasingly vulnerable and helpless.

FBI statistics clearly show that ‘as’ gun restrictions and bans increase, so does violent crime.

Oh! The top ten most dangerous cities in America… they are as follows from the FBI records for 2009: The first most dangers city in America is St. Louis Missouri. The second is Camden New Jersey, third, Detroit Michigan, fourth Flint Michigan, fifth Oakland California, sixth Richmond California, seventh Cleveland Ohio, eighth Compton California, ninth Gary Indiana, and tenth Birmingham Alabama.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Well… the bottom line is, that you and your family will not only be left unprotected because of economic cutbacks, but thanks to your governments short sightedness not to mention the millions of constitutional violations of an amendment that explicitly says “Shall not be Infringed”, you now will be LEFT DEFENSELESS… and DEAD!

You might want to give this some thought the next time you vote, or contact your state and federal representatives.

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run
into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation?
My blog has a lot of exclusive content I've either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any ways to help stop content from being ripped off? I'd definitely
appreciate it.
