The American Sharia Courts

If you think that Islamic law (Sharia) will be found only in Islamic countries, you would be correct, but just what is an Islamic country? It is a country where Muslims are found, and that my friend is in every country in the world.

By de Andréa

On Friday, March 14, 2008 I wrote an article titled A Covenant with the Devil. “Even Gods own elect will be deceived.”

Today Great Britain is not so great, mostly because today the Brits have literally dozens of Islamic Courts, where not only Muslims are tried but British infidelic citizens are as well. Moreover, they are tried under Sharia (Islamic demonic Law). Britain by all definitions is an Islamic State, under the rule of Sharia.

Most of Western Europe is much the same; Canada is also adopting Sharia and will soon be an Islamic State. But if you are feeling shunned by the Nation of Islam or are feeling left out, well, not to worry my free infidelic friend, Sharia Law is alive --- and well on its inevitable way, right here in the good ole U.S. of A.

Texas Sharia Courts
Sharia Courts in... Texas! Yes, Texas.
The rule of law in Texas… “The parties will ask the courts to refer the cases for arbitration to Texas Islamic court within "Seven Days" from the establishment of the Texas Islamic Court panel of Arbitrators. The assignment must include ALL cases, including those filed against or on behalf of other family members related to the parties. Each party will notify the other party, Texas Islamic Court, and their respective attorneys, in writing of the assignment of all the above Cause Numbers from the above appropriate District Court to Texas Islamic Court.”

This has become such an Issue here in the U.S. that the Oklahoma Legislature is sending a Sharia ban, to the voters for approval. I don’t think they can stop Federal Sharia law that way, but even when the "mainstream media" covers such a story, which isn’t too often, its bias and ignorant deception shows through, big time.

For instance, ABC News posted a story June 14th 2010 about the Okalahoma legislature passing a State Constitutional amendment that would ban judges from using Sharia law to decide cases. The amendment now goes to the voters for approval. Good for you Oklahoma! Good forsight. Unusual in todays blimd decieved Nation.

The slant of the story essentially belittled the legislature for taking this action. It began with the title, "Islamic Sharia Law to Be Banned in, ah, Oklahoma." It insinuated that such legislation is unnecessary since "only 30,000" Muslims live in the state of 3.7 million people. It has obviously escaped the writer's notice that Oklahoma's percentage of Muslims is about equal to the percentage of Muslims in all of America which is now approximately 1.5% of the country’s population, except for the state of Michigan which has a larger population of Muslims than the country of Afghanistan, now more than 28%.

Moreover, it's highly doubtful that the writer knows that Texas has already had several cases remanded to the "Texas Islamic Court" this past decade. The writer states that there are only five Sharia courts in the UK. Wrong, yesterday’s news, today there are dozens...

Sharia Law is coming to a court near you
The truth is that Sharia is a complex and comprehensive unity that traditional Muslims believe to be the unalterable law of Allah. To open the door to one aspect of it, is only to open the door to the rest -- which inevitably will result in the institutionalized subjugation of women and non-Muslims, and the extinguishing of freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and the ultimate loss of all freedom.

President Obama has tabbed the former dean of Yale Law School, Harold Koh, a Korean by heritage, to become the legal adviser for the State Department. Among numerous questionable and controversial statements, Koh has said that the "war on terror" -- a term which the Obama Administration has already quietly abandoned, “was obsessive.” And in a 2007 speech, according to a lawyer who was in the audience, Koh opined that "in an appropriate case, he didn't see any reason why Sharia law would not be applied to govern a Federal case in the United States."

Asked for comment, a spokeswoman for Koh waved the incident away: "I had heard that some guy...had asked a question about Sharia law, and that Dean Koh had said something about that while there are obvious differences among the many different legal systems, they also share some common legal concepts."

Probably Koh has something in mind akin to what the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, was thinking when he made his notorious statement that Islamic law was "unavoidable" in Britain. Williams said “he didn't mean that Britain would become a Sharia state, but only that Muslims could have recourse to private Sharia arbitration ---[I wonder if Christians, Jews and Hindus will have their own courts as well, probably not.] --- for marital disputes, inheritance matters, and the like. Stoning and amputations? Of course not. "Nobody in their right mind, we wouldn’t want to see in this country the kind of inhumanity that's sometimes been associated with the practice of the law in some Islamic states; the extreme punishments, the attitudes to women as well.” But, he concluded, “the idea that there's one law for everybody...I think that's a bit of a danger.” Interesting --- equality of treatment and equality of rights for all people is a dangerous concept! Oh boy! Read a comment written by Ed Whelan of ‘the corner’

One may hope that Koh wouldn't go that far, but in saying that "in an appropriate case" Sharia legal principles could be applied in the United States, he seems to be opening the door to Sharia courts in the U.S., instituted after the pattern already established in Britain. Which means that America would be an Islamic State governed by Islamic Sharia Law, wouldn’t it???

Sharia courts are already operating, and multiculturalists Ignorently dismiss concerns about them by insisting that they're just private, voluntary arbitration tribunals, like similar arbitration panels for Jews and Catholics. The analogy, however, is not even close. Jewish family courts and Catholic marriage tribunals claim authority only over those who accept that authority, i.e., those who believe in the tenets of those faiths. What's more, such courts claim no authority beyond their narrow purview, such that most legal matters are beyond their scope. Islamic law, by contrast, asserts itself as the only legitimate law for all areas of human life – not just marriage and family law, and by no means just religious law, but as the sole legal foundation for every aspect of social, physical, and political life.

As such, Sharia claims jurisdiction over non-Muslims as well as Muslims. The great Pakistani Islamic theorist of the twentieth century, Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, whose writings remain internationally influential among Muslims today, wrote that non-Muslims have "absolutely no right to seize the reins of power in any part of God's earth, nor to direct the collective affairs of human beings according to their own misconceived doctrines. If they do, the believers would be under an obligation to do their utmost to dislodge them from political power and to make them live in subservience to the Islamic way of life.” In accord with this, there is no concept in the Quran, Islamic tradition, or Islamic law of non-Muslims living as equals with Muslims in an Islamic state --- Muslims must be in a superior position, and govern the infidels as slaves or kill them.

And so it comes as no surprise that those private Sharia courts in Britain are already coming into conflict with British law. Recently Sharia courts in Britain have been allowed to adjudicate cases of domestic violence rather than have those cases referred to the criminal courts, even though the Quran directs men to beat disobedient women Sura (4:34) – a directive likely to find the battered woman's complaint falling on deaf ears in a Sharia court.

Sharia is a complex and comprehensive unity that traditional Muslims believe to be the unalterable law of Allah. To open the door to one aspect of it, is only to open the door to the rest -- which inevitably will result in the institutionalized subjugation of women and all non-Muslims, and the extinguishing of freedom of speech and freedom of conscience. Consequently, all free people may hope that Koh, if his nomination is approved, will reconsider his earlier naïve approval of the coming of Sharia to the land of the free.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Will Sharia law come to America? Have you read what I just wrote? It’s already here my poor blind friend. All that is left is for it to take control.

While I was writing this article I was chatting with a young typical educationally- indoctrinated friend of mine who is 26 years young. His comment was “yeah, but it won’t happen here”. That my friend is precisely what the people in the now Islamic State of Indonesia said and the people of the Islamic State Lebanon and the people of the Islamic State of not so Great Britain. It is what the people of Canada are saying is not happening, it is what the people of Germany said when the threat of Nazism was in the air and Hitler was coming to power. It is what Einstein said about people who do the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. What he said was “they are [bloody] INSANE”.

An infected finger starts as a small sore, but if left unchecked and to its own volition it will slowly evolve into a major problem and become gangrenous or worse, resulting in the loss of ones hand or possibly ones arm or even ones life.

Will it happen here? No! You’re not listening, Sharia has already infected America, moreover it is going unchecked, and it is even encouraged. Unless it is stopped my friend, we will not only lose our freedom but we will lose our lives. Indonesia, prior to the 1950’s was 72 percent Christian, a Dutch colony, with a parliamentary free democracy. Then two Muslims arrived. Today 50 to 60 years later it is 98 percent ‘Muslim terrorists’ and 1.5 percent Christian. Where have all the Christians gone? Some went underground, some fled for their lives, --- most are dead.

You should get Rosetta Stone and learn Arabic. And Oh! You might want to get yourself a prayer rug and a Burka before the rush of Ramadan. Sharia law, you know!

It's can't believe that you go to these lengths to get worked up over complete nonsense. The bottom line is the First
Amendment. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion..."

We have that little thing called "Separation of church and state" in this country?

We can't even enact Biblical Law into our judicial system. What makes you think that Sharia Law would be any different? You actually believe that a population that is 1.9% in this country is capable of overturning the US Constitution? Are you completely nuts?

You misunderstand the position of Sharia Courts in the UK.
Under UK law *anyone* can be an arbitrator in a civil dispute if the parties involved agree to it. The decision of the arbitrator is legally binding under UK law. Such Jewish courts have been in existence for years, as have some lesser known ones. In fact, you could set up a Jedi Knight court whose judgments would also be legally binding.
