McCain-Palin

There is hope for America after all...

By de Andréa

I have been following Sarah’s career since she became governor of Alaska close to two years ago. I became aware of her when she convinced the state of Alaska that the Second Amendment was actually part of the bill of rights and abolished most of the anti gun laws. Now, as in the State of Vermont for example, one can actually bear arms in Alaska with out having to get permission from the Gestapo. Now that’s progressive, the socialist Democrat party who call themselves progressives, just don’t know the meaning of the word. This choice for VP by McCain is bold and progressive because it is a step in the right direction, a return toward the basic core values that made America Great.

As for the panic-stricken Liberals regarding her inexperience: With the exception of McCain’s Military leadership, Palin actually has more leadership experience than all of the other three candidates. Sarah Palin’s leadership qualities began to surface when she was in college, she was chair of this, and president of that, not to mention that she is better looking than Joe Biden. She was runner up in a beauty pageant, that’s one up on Joe. After marriage and having children she became a member of her children’s school PTA. Her taste for politics began to show when she became chair of the PTA (a leadership roll). Always a political activist she then ran for her town counsel and after winning that, she ran for mayor of the town (a leadership roll) which was the step ladder for the subsequent run for Governor of the State of Alaska (a leadership roll)

Moreover being governor of Alaska she has had to deal with foreign neighbors, Canada on the right and Russia on the left. And she has also been in Iraq and fired an M16. This is one tuff lady.
Sarah Palin did all this by butting heads with the status quo. She reformed the Republican Party in her state by throwing out all the corrupt people in the State Government.
As I said, with the exception of McCain and his Military leadership, the toughest decision a senator has to make is whether to vote for something or not.

She has as much experience in leadership and government as Ronald Reagan and he brought an end to the cold war with the liberals kicking and screaming behind him. .
Pro-family advocates and Republicans are saying that John McCain may have checkmated Democrat Sen. Barack Hussein Obama with his choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential running mate.

She's a woman, young, and did I mention that she is good looking, she has been governor of Alaska for about two years, is pro-life and doesn't believe homosexuals should be granted the special privilege of "marriage" rights, is a mother, has a son in the on his way to Iraq and wants to expand America's energy production. She wants to drill, drill, drill.

The excitement was palpable among conservative leaders when they heard that Gov. Palin was Sen. McCain's choice for vice president. There is a high level of optimism among conservative leaders that the McCain-Palin combination is a ticket that will connect with the values of American conservative voters.

In her first appearance with McCain, Palin credited Hillary Clinton for leaving behind 18 million cracks, representing 18 million voters who supported her, in the glass ceiling between women and the American presidency, but she also said American women are not finished.

Gov. Palin can work with both parties and has shown she can clean up government corruption. "She is unapologetically pro-life and pro-marriage. Those are values which are shared by the vast majority of mainstream Americans. Gov. Palin has called abortion an 'atrocity,' and she helped Alaska pass the nation's very first marriage amendment in 1998, eight years before she was governor. She is also a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association, who in July organized a meeting of 100 nationally prominent social conservative leaders in Denver to emphasize shared core values. I believe Gov. Palin will electrify conservatives.

When almost 90 percent of all Down's Syndrome babies are aborted, Gov. Palin proudly gave birth to her son Trig last spring, even after he was diagnosed with Down's Syndrome during her pregnancy. The contrast with Sen. Obama could not be greater.

"While Sen. Obama believes that unwanted babies should be murdered, Gov. Palin has shown by her example that all pre-born babies, even those with birth defects, deserve a life like anyone else.

A dedicated family woman and a mother of five, including a son serving our country now, Palin represents Americas original core values and well understands the challenges American families face. Watch videos . Read an interview of Palin by News Max
