What the Framers Knew

Over the past 200 plus years, America has forgotten most everything that the Framers of our Constitution knew so well…

By de Andréa

The Founders of this country knew from their history that a democracy wouldn’t work, partially because of the fall of the “Athenian Republic” which evolved into a democracy some 2,000 years earlier. One might wonder then, why did the Founders create a democracy in America. The truth is, they didn’t...

No, the original form of American government that the Founders created was a ”Constitutional Republic”, with all the built in safe guards to keep it from incrementally falling into the trap of a true democracy. It was somewhat democratically run as opposed to a parliamentary run government as in most of Western Europe, but it was never meant to be a democracy.

“Well intended governments, if allowed to ignore the reason and intentions of the architects and divert, even in the slightest, from its original foundation will eventually find itself slipping into the abyss of tyranny”. de Andréa, 2008

If one dares to look back in our history, one would find a very different country. For example a country whose government wouldn’t think of interfering in the private business of its citizens, or taxing personal income so it could be used to grow government and buy votes.

In May 31, 1913 the Federal Government abandon the Republic and passed the 17th Amendment, officially changing forever this free nation from a Complex Republic into a Simple Republic much like the style of the old Soviet Union. States rights were lost and we were plunged headlong into a democracy of which our Fore-fathers warned us was the vilest form of government because it always lead to socialism and ended in tyranny.

Today, not only do we not have a Constitutional Republic, but we do not have a Democracy either. We have surreptitiously and incrementally evolved from a republic to a democracy and to the very beginnings of social fascism.

Also in February 25 of 1913 our government abandon the peoples liberty and with the illegal ratification of only four States enacted the 16th Amendment creating the Internal revenue service, and they have been robbing from the rich and giving to the poor ever since. This of course does not help the poor but creates a dependent class of citizens. (Buying of votes) One might think, well isn’t is what Robin-hood did in Nottingham England and he was a good guy… But Robin did not rob from the rich; he took back from the government what was stolen from the poor and returned it, with of course a slight commission for himself and his band of thieves.

The constitution is dead, so says the Supreme Court
Not too long ago if one remembers, some members of Congress as well as a couple of our Supreme Court Justices made a statement to the effect that our Constitution is, and should be a living document, meaning that it should evolve and change with the times. We should for example incorporate laws and statutes that have an international flavor. Of course the truth be known, this is precisely what we had been doing, and why we have lost our Republic. Moreover, it is why we will lose our country, our freedom, our liberty, and end up just as the third world countries that we are attempting to emulate with an international flavor. According to the Supreme Court if the Constitution doesn’t evolve into something else, it is dead. The truth is that it is dying because it has been evolving into something else.

So how long do we have?
About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the “Athenian Republic” some 2,000 years earlier, should we fall as the Athenians did from a Republic into a true democracy…
A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. (Welfare and the redistribution of wealth, a true socialistic philosophy) From that moment on, the majority will always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, (Earmarks) with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to an evolving loose fiscal policy, which has always in history been followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence”:

1. >From bondage to spiritual faith; 1500 to 1600
2. >From spiritual faith to great courage; 1600 to 1700
3. >From great courage to liberty; 1700 to 1800
4. >From liberty to abundance; 1800 to 1900
5. >From abundance to complacency; 1900 to 1950
6. >From complacency to apathy; 1950 to 2000
7. >From apathy to dependence; 2000 to 2030
8. >From dependence back into bondage' 2030 to 2050
Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 U.S. Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Gore: 19 Bush: 29
Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000 Bush: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million Bush: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Gore: 13.2 Bush 2.1
Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore’s territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements or living off various forms of government welfare...’ Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the apathy and dependency phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reachedthe 'governmental dependency' phase. Once the majority reaches the dependency phase we will have come full circle. We will be back in the bondage of dependency, and on the road to tyranny.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called “Undocumented Workers’ and they vote and they will, then in fewer than 10 years, we can say goodbye to the America we have come to know and love.

THE BOTTOM LINE: But then, what do I know, I just read history, philosophy and have been told that I am very intuitive. For our sake and that of our children and the sake of our country, I certainly hope that I don’t know what I am talking about.

”If My people who are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”. God… 2 Chronicles 7:14
