It has arrived:
Possible war in the streets and on our college campuses

If recent history has taught us anything, it is that Islam is the biggest threat our country faces. Nevertheless, many Americans prefer to ignore this international campaign of terror by Islamic jihadists committed to world conquest. This is especially true on our college campuses, where radical professors and student groups, in an unholy alliance with pro-jihad forces, have shut down discussion of this important topic so they can continue to claim that the United States is the world's only villain.

The left wing America haters will do anything it can to support the destruction of American freedom of speech and the dissemination of the truth in this country.

To combat this campaign of deception and intimidation, the Freedom Center is organizing an Islamo Fascism Awareness Week for October 22-26. We've got a great lineup of speakers like Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, former Sen. Rick Santorum, Michael Medved, Robert Spencer, Daniel Pipes, Dennis Prager and others at campuses including Berkeley, Columbia, Penn and Stanford. With events at over 150 campuses, this will be the largest demonstration ever staged by conservative students – since these students are our future; this wake up call is what our country and especially our universities desperately need.

Not surprisingly, the left is also organizing - to kill Islamo Fascism Awareness Week and silence the vital truths it will tell. The powerful American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee supported by left wing extremists is intimidating university administrations all over the country into canceling the events our campus coordinators have set up. The Muslim Students Association, campus arm of the terrorist organizations, Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, is planning disruptive actions to drown out our message. Most alarming of all, the Revolutionary Communist Party and other radical groups have promised violent confrontations that put these speakers in physical danger.

The speakers have been threatened and attacked in their effort to tell the truth about Islamo Fascism. I'm writing to you today because we need your help to guarantee their safety during Islamo Fascism Awareness Week.

We have acquired a plan by far -left radicals in California called "RESIST 'Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week!'“ They claim we have a "plan to harass Muslim Student Associations and Women's Studies Departments, and silence anyone that questions the Bush Regime's official narrative." That is how they describe a major theme we want to get across to students during IFA Week - the oppression of women in Islam. They do not want our speakers to talk about the genital mutilation of Muslim women, the way they are stoned to death for adultery and murdered in "honor killings."

These leftists call me a Nazi and say "Horowitz defends every crime that this system has ever committed and is now preparing to justify even more, and to intimidate and silence any who would question or resist this." Do you believe people like that when they say their plan is simply to "politically confront" us?

I don't for a minute think their intentions are peaceful. We have learned that hardcore leftist groups like the Revolutionary Communist Party are threatening outright violence.

I know from personal experience what it means when these thugs take on those they oppose. Last year members of the Revolutionary Communist Party attacked me physically at two events in California, and I was saved from harm only by the quick reactions of members of the audience. We have seen them threatening and intimidating conservative students and speakers like Ann Coulter and Daniel Pipes in other demonstrations. I have seen the death threats that regularly appear on the email of Robert Spencer, a Freedom Center staff member who is one of the most perceptive critics of radical Islam.

We need to take measures now to keep the Revolutionary Communist Party and other violent groups from harming the people who are brave enough to go into the leftist strongholds and tell the truth about Islamo-Fascism.

This means that in addition to all the expenses of putting on the Week, we now have to hire security personnel to protect us during the activities and maintain a peaceful environment that will guarantee that our message is heard.
