Kalat, an Iraqi Sculptor has redirected his talents from slavery to freedom, but you will not hear about this in the hate America liberal media.
An Iraqi artist named Kalat, forced for years by Saddam Hussein to make hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad, created this statue.
Kalat was so grateful for the Americans liberation of his country; that he melted three of the bronze busts of the tyrant Saddam Hussein, and working night and day for several months, he made this statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen comrades.
To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi child giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.
Do you know why we don't hear about this in the socialist media? It is because it is, heart warming, praise worthy, and it’s the truth. The media avoids it because it says someone loves America and appreciates what we are trying to do.
The sad truth is, while millions of unappreciative undeserving free Americans hate their country for trying to save their useless lives, as well as give an oppressed and abused people the choice of a better life, there is at least one in this living Hell that loves us for our effort and sacrifice.

Beautiful statue! As the snopes references state, the artist did not want to create the Sadam statues but was forced to for financial reasons. Just another of the numerous, wonderful examples of Iraqis and Americans working together.
